CeBeCo® SONOMAT
The CeBeCo® SONOMAT is an ultrasonic-assisted immersion cleaning system with a stationary washing basket or support frame. The ultrasonic cleaning process is used for cleaning set parts, such as milled parts or sheet metal.
This machine was specially developed as a workplace system for industrial parts cleaning in production and maintenance.
Thanks to its stable, robust and compact design, as well as all components that come into contact with the media being made of stainless steel, it offers a cost-effective solution for cleaning individual parts and small batches.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON ULTRASONIC TECHNOLOGY
Today, ultrasonic cleaning is used successfully in many industrial sectors, in production and in service. Especially since the use of solvents had to be restricted to protect the environment with many legal requirements to be fulfilled, cleaning with ultrasound using aqueous media together with an alkaline cleaning chemistry has become one of the most successful and safest alternatives.
DESIGN
The CeBeCo® SONOMAT is manufactured from strong stainless steel sheet in a welded construction and is available in various standard sizes. Depending on the application, the washing chamber is equipped with floor or side plate transducers. A combination of both is also possible. There is an emptying facility at the lowest point of the beveled shelves. Intermediate or special sizes according to customer-specific requirements are possible.

SEDDING BASIN
A settling basin can be installed at the rear of the washing chamber. This is welded to the chamber and an overflow channel is integrated at liquid level. The medium is sucked out of the sedimentation tank by a circulation pump, filtered via a cartridge filter and conveyed back into the chamber via a nozzle pipe installed at the front. In this way, floating oils and contaminants enter the sedimentation tank and the bath surface is largely freed from contamination in order to minimise recontamination.
LIFTING DEVICE
The items to be washed can be moved up and down pneumatically by means of a lifting device installed at the rear. This oscillation below the bath surface improves the ultrasonic effect and thus increases the cleaning performance. It is automatic (time-controlled) and can be preset in the control panel.

MODEL VARIATIONS
The SONOMAT® is available in different model variants.

Three cleaning stations are installed in this model. In station 1, the wash ware is washed using ultrasound (33 kHz) in a heated immersion bath (W). Station 2 offers a heated sink (S) as an immersion bath. The 3rd station is the drip tray (A). Here, the remaining residual moisture can be removed from the wash items using compressed air. For this purpose, it is fitted with a splash guard on two sides.

This model has a large basin as a washing chamber (W). The items to be washed are sonicated from two sides with 25 kHz plate transducers. The control system includes a weekly timer which monitors the switch-on time of the bath heating. The stainless steel basket used can be loaded with up to 200 kg and placed in the wash chamber by crane.

This model consists of a depositing table (A), a washing chamber (W) with 25kHz floor sound, a rinsing chamber (S) with 40kHz floor sound and a further but lowered depositing table for simplified unloading of the wash items. The washing and rinsing chambers are equipped with a sedimentation tank at the rear and with 2-cartridge filters in the bypass process.

This model consists of a washing chamber (W) with 58 kHz floor sound and a rinsing chamber (S). In addition to a sedimentation tank installed at the rear, both chambers are also equipped with a common lifting device. This lifting device is used to lower the items to be washed on a carrier into the cleaning bath, where they are oscillated to support the cleaning process.
